The staff was able to accommodate our large party of 16. That was a PLUS. The minus? -Our chef was very dull. He barely interacted with us. Then, the chicken hibachi was DROWNING in teriyaki sauce!!! It was so thick, it didn’t even look like chicken? Perhaps the cooks should ASK people if they want thick teriyaki syrup before serving!?! We won’t be back. :(

An absolutely spectacular dining experience! The chef put on a live show that was both delicious and hilarious. Admist all of the knife juggling, roaring flames, high flying food and low flying jokes, the delicious meal itself made it an unforgettable night. I dont know if all of the chefs or staff’s energy is always this high and infectious, but it felt like a personalized party for us around the flat iron plate. I've been to many teppanyaki restaurants in LA, Japan, Korea and Hong Kong, and this is definitely one of the best I've been to so definitely I strongly recommend this place.

Vegetables were raw and chicken is under cooked. I ordered a lunch habachi takeaway with double vegetable with no soy or teriyaki sauce. What I received was undercooked chicken and vetagables. The carrots and zucchini were still raw in the center. There is no way I am trying the chicken. I called and the employee who checked me out who I question inside the restaurant was the same person who answerd the phone. She said she was the manager. She refused to let me talk with the chief. Then said she would talk to the owner when I asked to speak to the owner. She spoke with the owner and said the chief cooked the food fine. There is no way when you order chicken and they say it will be done in 10 minutes that it is cooked all the way. Chicken requires 12 minutes to cook fully. The employer also said the owner was “out of town” till the 30th. Even though when she said she spoke to the owner it was in present tense. So I’ve been lied to that the food is fully cooked, that the hostess is the manager, and that the owner is out of town. I’ve never has such horrible customer service. I stopped coming two years ago because of this same problem. Please let me know how this can be fixed

We have eaten hibachi in countless places, not only across Florida but in multiple countries around the world. We’ve been to Benihana, Samurai in Miami, and many other hibachi restaurants over the years. Without exaggeration, this may be the worst hibachi meal we have ever had. The biggest issue was the food. Hibachi fried rice is supposed to have that classic garlic butter flavor. Instead, it tasted like plain butter mixed with an overwhelming amount of barbecue sauce. We have never seen so much barbecue sauce used in hibachi fried rice anywhere in the world. The result was a sweet, overpowering flavor that completely ruined the dish. What made it even worse was that the filet mignon was also covered with barbecue sauce. Honestly, putting that much barbecue sauce on a filet mignon should be considered a crime. We are talking about filet mignon, not a backyard barbecue. No competent hibachi chef would drown a premium cut of meat in that amount of sugary sauce until you can barely taste the beef itself. I went to this restaurant when I visited Jacksonville for business. I chose this restaurant after I read other reviews. I was not disappointed. I had a great experience at this hibachi restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The service was outstanding from start to finish. Everyone was attentive, friendly, and made me feel welcome. The chef was especially impressive, not only skilled at preparing the meal right in front of us, but also incredibly entertaining. The whole hibachi performance made the evening fun and memorable. Highly recommend for both the food and the experience!
